Escape The Fate: With one of the fastest and heaviest sounds in metalcore today, Escape the Fate has gained a huge following with three hit albums and regular tour dates on the Warped Tour. Though their lightning fast guitars and drums have brought them popularity since 2004, their most recent, self-titled album has brought them into the mainstream. It's also brought Escape the Fate their first headlining tour dates in 2011, which continue well into the fall.

Escape the Fate caught their big break after winning a radio contest to open a show for My Chemical Romance, judged by the band themselves. While Escape the Fate's debut album, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, initially received average reviews, it showcased the band's talent and led to tour dates that would boost their popularity. The band's lead singer, Ronnie Radke, was soon fired from the band due to frequent incarceration and his involvement in the murder of a teen. With Craig Mabbitt, Escape the Fate released This War Is Ours in 2008. The album reached #2 on the Independent Album charts and brought the band their first full-length concert schedule.

Escape the Fate has let more of their classic metal and rock influences show on their latest self-titled album, which is garnering well-deserved buzz from music critics. The group has recently finished tour dates on two 2011 headlining tours, with more beginning in late August. While most of the concert schedule is planned for the US, Escape the Fate will head to the UK shortly before ending their 2011 tour dates on October 30. Don't miss this opportunity to catch one of the world's leading metalcore bands on their concert schedule this fall.

Stone Temple Pilots: Since the moment they appeared on the scene in the early 90's, Stone Temple Pilots dominated the decade from start to finish, racking up 15 singles on the Billboard Top Ten, winning a "Best Hard Rock Performance" GRAMMY in 1994 for for "Plush," and having their five albums sell more than 35 million copies worldwide. Of all their peers, STP alone had sustained commercial success, earning greater critical acclaim with each release, building a body of work that remains popular and its enduring acclaim has only highlighted the absence of the band, who quietly went their separate ways after the turn-of the millennium release of Shangri-La Dee Da. Despite the presence of the greatest hits album Thank You in 2003, there has been a generation that has never witnessed the live power of the vocalist Scott Weiland, guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz live in concert, a situation that will be remedied this summer when the band reunites for a long-awaited and highly anticipated tour.

A dominant force in rock music since their inception, the group's impressively extensive and top-selling music has cemented their standing as one of the most successful rock groups of all time. Scott Weiland and Robert DeLeo met at a Black Flag concert in Long Beach, California, discovering in the course of their conversation that the two were dating the same girl. Instead of sparking a rivalry, this common ground was the foundation of a friendship, with the pair moving into the girl's apartment after she left town. Weiland and DeLeo formed a band called Mighty Joe Young, with drummer Eric Kretz joining the lineup soon afterward, with Robert's brother Dean coming aboard not long after that. Soon, the group established themselves as a draw in San Diego, eventually gaining the attention of Atlantic Records who signed them in 1991. After hearing that there was a blues singer calling himself Mighty Joe Young, the group changed their name to Stone Temple Pilots during the recording of their 1992 debut album, Core.

Core was bracing blend of grunge guitars, classic rock moves and big pop hooks. At first, the ironic swagger of "Sex Type Thing" brought them onto MTV and radio, but it was "Plush" that blew the doors wide open for the band, establishing them as multi-platinum act in 1993. A pair of subsequent singles were released from Core -- "Wicked Garden" and the spooky, acoustic "Creep" -- before they delivered Purple in 1994. A large, eager fan base snatched Purple up upon its opening week, sending it to # 1 but Purple wasn't a one-week wonder, it grew as the record spun off hit after hit: first there was the majestic, cryptic "Big Empty," taken from The Crow soundtrack, then there was "Vasoline," which was followed by the modern rock classic "Interstate Love Song," a radio smash that stayed on the top of Billboard's Album Rock charts for 15 weeks, besting the record set by the Rolling Stones' "Start Me Up. "

Not content to continue to replicate the heavy hooks of their first two albums, Stone Temple Pilots dug deep into glam and Beatleseque psychedelia on their third album, 1996's Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop, which produced hits in the stomping "Big Bang Baby," tightly-wound "Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart" and beautiful "Lady Picture Show." The band then regrouped for 1999's tough, muscular No. 4, a hard rock album that nevertheless had a wistful highlight in "Sour Girl," which turned into one of STP's biggest hits. Two years later, the group released Shangri-La Dee Da, which achieved a perfect blend of their thick riffs and candy melodies, typified by the hit "Days of the Week."

Stone Temple Pilots went their separate ways after Shangri-La Dee Da, leaving the question of a reunion hanging in the air. A greatest hits album called Thank You in 2003 only reminded fans that all great bands have a certain magic that is attained when the original lineup comes together to play, something Stone Temple Pilots will prove that this summer when they reunite for this long-awaited tour.

In Spring 2008 STP officially revealed that the band will be reuniting and will launch a massive 2008 concert tour encompassing over 65 dates and hitting all corners of North America. Marking the first national tour for Stone Temple Pilots in almost eight years, the 65 date stretch will bring the iconic bands charismatic musicianship and exhilarating live shows to amphitheatres across North America.

Theory of a Deadman: Theory of a Deadman had a simple but daunting goal for its third album: to make the greatest record possible.

"I always try to remind the guys and myself that there are 20 bands lined up behind us just waiting for a chance to take our place," says frontman Tyler Connolly. "So that means we had to go in there and make a great record." With Scars & Souvenirs, the Vancouver trio has hit its mark.

The balanced 13-track effort is the polished and passionate testament to seven years of hard work, heavy touring and diligent attention to its craft. From the swirling grind of "By the Way" to the nasty snarl of "Crutch" to the soaring melodicism of "Not Meant to Be" and "Wait For Me," Scars & Souvenirs is a broad-reaching endeavor that puts Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner and bassist Dean Back high in the rock pantheon, achieving creative growth without sacrificing the hard-hitting power that got them here in the first place.

Deftones: It is hard to pin down exactly what kind of music the Deftones play, mostly because there's no other mainstream band with the same sound; and if there was, that band would be asking the Deftones what to call it. The Sacramento, California "alt-metal" band has been producing a unique brand of metal with atmospheric sounds for over seventeen years, and are still going strong with tour dates and their latest album, Diamond Eyes. For as long as the Deftones have been together, they've also been selling out concert dates year after year; a feat they're continuing to perform during their 2011 tour dates in promotion of Diamond Eyes. Fans can look forward to numerous concert dates at European music festivals this summer, as well as 2011 tour dates in the US with The Dillinger Escape Plan.

Founding members Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Chino Moreno (vocals), and Abe Cunningham (drums) all went to high school together in the Sacramento area. They searched for a bassist and eventually chose Chi Cheng and recorded a demo shortly after. The band released their debut album in October of 1995 to dismal sales and a general lack of interest. The Deftones embarked on a number of concert dates to generate interest in the album; it worked and the Deftones ending up selling over 220,000 copies of the record.

With the eventual success earned from Adrenaline, the Deftone's follow-up album was set to be a hit from the start. Around the Fur was released two years later in 1997 and propelled the band into popularity. Basking in the album's success, the Deftones embarked on a number of concert dates, including tour dates at Ozzfest and Warped Tour over the next two years. It was on White Pony that the band slowed down their sound and began experimenting with different musical styles and techniques. White Pony was officially released in 2000 and the album became a huge success, eventually going platinum.

The band decided to go with a harder style for their next self-titled album. Deftones was released in 2003, with fans and critics blown away by how much heavier the album was than White Pony. Tragedy struck while recording, Eros, when, in 2008, bassist Chi Cheng was horribly injured a car accident. Three years later, Cheng still has limited brain function and motor skills but is starting to show signs of progress. After the accident, the rest of the Deftones became increasingly frustrated with the recording of Eros, eventually indefinitely postponing the album after creative dissatisfactions.

With Sergio Vega (formerly of Quicksand) filling in for Cheng on bass, the Deftones released their latest album, Diamond Eyes, in May 2010. Diamond Eyes was named the iTunes 2010 Rock Album of the Year and has sent the Deftones on concert dates since the album's release, with even more tour dates in 2011. The Deftones is currently playing spring tour dates in 2011 with The Dillinger Escape Plan, with many concert dates already sold out. The US concert dates will end on June 15 before the band takes a quick touring break. The Deftones will performing 2011 tour dates at a number of European music festivals beginning in mid-August, including the Spirit of Burgas Festival, Warsaw's Rock in Summer Festival, the Reading and Leeds Festivals, and Rock En Seine Festival. With the Deftones back on their feet -- and Chi Cheng hopefully slowly but surely getting there -- it is the perfect time to check out the Deftone's 2011 tour dates.

Hollywood Undead: Hollywood Undead is a rapcore/crunkcore band from Los Angeles, shaking up the rock scene with heavy party songs with a bit of an edge. The six man rap group has a tenacious stage presence, characterized by each member's unique, hockey-style mask worn on tour dates. While it's a concept pioneered by bands like GWAR and KISS, Hollywood Undead doesn't conform to any music scene, with songs switching from rap, to slow piano licks, to metal; sometimes all within the same song. With their second album American Tragedy released on April 5 2011, Hollywood Undead is headlining the Revolt Tour with a number of concert dates in April and May of 2011.

Hollywood Undead began from a song called "The Kids" that member J-Dog and former member Deuce posted to the band's MySpace page. The song was so popular that the two decided to form a band with their friends who have now become known as Charlie Scene, Da Kurlzz, Danny, Funny Man, J-Dog, and Johnny 3 Tears. They compiled songs for their first album Swan Song, but had trouble finding a record label that wouldn't censor the album. They finally signed with A&M/Octone Records that released the album in 2008. The album sold 21,000 copies in its first week and produced the single "Everywhere I Go".

While working on their follow-up album, American Tragedy, lead singer Deuce was voted out of the band citing "musical differences"; although rumors have spread over the true cause. To replace the lead singer, the ensemble has snatched singer and American Idol contestant Daniel Murillo from rock band Lorene Drive. Since Deuce's removal from the band, Hollywood Undead has been working on their latest album and promoting it on a number of tour dates. While the songs on the album still have Hollywood Undead's unmistakeable head-bumping style, they deal with more serious and dire themes.

Songs from Hollywood Undead's album can also be seen headlining concert dates in 2011 on the Revolt Tour with bands 10 Years, Drive A, and New Medicine. The first tour date is March 26 at the Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival in Las Vegas, right before Hollywood Undead takes the 2011 concert dates up to Canada. The last concert date of the Revolt Tour will be in St. Paul, MN on May 28 before heading to Germany for Rock Im Park and Rock Am Park, and to the UK for the Download Festival. With Hollywood Undead at the hottest they've ever been, fans will have plenty of opportunities to pick up American Tragedy and catch a local tour date this spring.

Chevelle: Chevelle

Bush: Bush brought the grunge world to its knees when they released their debut alternative album Sixteen Stone in 1994. Three more albums, hundreds of tour dates and concerts, and only seven years later Bush announced an indefinite hiatus. The members started side projects and families but after ten years they are ready to reunite! Bush is in the studio finishing their first album in nearly a decade and have scheduled tour dates. Don't miss a date on the Bush concert schedule 2011; Use Eventful as your source for Bush tour dates and concert tour information.

Inspired by Pearl Jam and Nirvana, Bush came to embody British alternative rock. Fronted by Gavin Rossdale, the band was signed to a deal with Hollywood Records in 1993 at the peak of American grunge music's popularity. They recorded their debut album soon after and released the single "Everything Zen". With the help of LA based radio station, KROQ, the single went into heavy rotation and gave Bush a hit single. They released their worldwide smash debut, Sixteen Stone, at the tail end of 1994 and it became a slow-burning success. The album scored Bush a total of five top #5 US Modern Rock hit singles on the Billboard charts and was eventually certified six times platinum in the US. Bush tour dates were scheduled on a headlining tour with label-mates and future superstars - No Doubt.

Bush was quick to record their follow-up and released their sophomore set, Razorblade Suitcase, in 1996. The album featured the lead single "Swallowed" which spent seven weeks at #1 on the Modern Rock tracks survey. The album also featured the hit track "Greedy Fly" and featured production by grunge impresario, Steve Albini. The album was also a multi-Platinum success and Bush toured in support of the album. Bush tour dates were scheduled as the headlining act on KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas in 1996, an event where they have performed four times. Bush then released a remix album featuring a techno infused remake of the single "Mouth", which was featured in the film American Werewolf in Paris.

After an extensive Bush concert schedule, Rossdale retreated to Dublin where he worked on material for the band's upcoming album The Science of Things. Following the massive success of Bush, a label war between indie imprint Trauma Records and major label Interscope over who owned the rights to Bush's new material ensued. After a resolution, the electronica infused disc was released and featured the modern rock hit "The Chemicals Between Us". The album was certified Platinum and Bush tour dates were scheduled with international concert performances. Bush released one more album, Golden State, and announced a breakup in 2002. Bush toured in support of the album, but couldn't attain previous record sales. A Best Of was released in 2005 followed by a live disc, Zen X Four, and the band was officially over.

Gavin Rossdale went solo and focused on his relationship with megastar Gwen Stefani before releasing his own solo acoustic material. Other bandmates focused on side projects, but none matched the chemistry of Bush, nor the success. By mid-2010, a Bush reunion was announced and a new album Everything Always New was confirmed for release in 2011. Bush is currently in the studio putting the final touches on their first album in a decade. While the release date is pending, Bush tour dates are scheduled throughout the US periodically. Bush remains as one of the few remaining grunge/alt acts of the '90s and is certainly one of the most successful. Don't miss a date on the Bush concert schedule 2011.
