Josh Turner: The South Carolina native with the baritone voice has been wooing audiences since he released "Long Back Train" in 2003. With the deepest voice on country radio, Josh Turner is somewhat of an anomaly on the pop-country dial, however, he has managed to churn out hit after hit and keep audiences waiting with baited breath for his next release. Currently, Josh Turner tour dates are scheduled throughout the US this Summer, 2011.

The deep bass vocals of Josh Turner almost never materialized when at age 19, lesions on his vocal cords were discovered. Although he did not require treatment, doctors mandated that he rest his voice for a full year before returning to music. After a full recovery, Turner moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University and pursue his country music dreams. While at school, he met his wife, and became a classically trained singer; both experiences led to his success on the country charts.

Turner made his debut on the Grand Ole Opry in 2001 where he performed his single "Long Black Train". An album of the same name was released in 2003 peaking at #4 on the country charts. The album was eventually certified platinum and the title track spent more than forty weeks on the country singles chart. The immensely successful debut garnered Turner award nominations from all the major country music guilds including the Academy of Country Music, CMT, and the Country Music Association. "Long Black Train" was also awarded in several categories at the 2004 Inspirational Country Music Awards.

Turner was quick to return with his sophomore effort and released "Your Man" in 2005. It featured the title track which reached #1 on the singles chart (his first), and his signature #1 hit "Would You Go With Me", which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2006. In support of the album, Josh Turner's concert schedule included a whirlwind national tour with stops at major country music festivals and state fairs. In 2007, Turner released his third album, "Everything is Fine", which featured the single "Firecracker", his third track to hit the top ten. He also released a duet with country starlet Trisha Yearwood entitled "Another Try", which catapulted the album to gold status. That same year, Turner was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry by superstar Vince Gill becoming the second youngest member behind Carrie Underwood.

In 2009, Turner released "Haywire", his fourth album to-date and most recent, with the lead-off single "Why Don't We Just Dance" which peaked at #1. A second single "All Over Me", also peaked at #1 on the country charts. In support of the album, Josh Turner tour dates are currently scheduled nationally throughout 2011. In addition, Josh Turner scored a top billing at the Stagecoach Music Festival in May, 2011. Smooth and deep vocals, sincere lyrics, and a wholesome persona have made Turner country music royalty, so don't miss a performance!
